President Barack Obama said that America is already great and does not need a "self-declared savior" like Donald Trump to fix it, adding that only Hillary Clinton is fit to succeed him.
Obama said Americans are not a frightened, fearful people living in a "divided crime scene" as envisioned by Trump, and can only solve their problems by coming together and being faithful to the nation's founding ideals.
"Our power doesn't come from some self-declared savior promising that he alone can restore order as long as we do things his way. We don't look to be ruled," Obama said. He was joined on stage by Clinton at the end of the third night of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
"There has never been a man or a woman -- not me, not Bill, nobody -- more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as President of the United States of America," Obama said.
